Anchor Church started in January 2021 as a home fellowship. Born out of many years of prayer and following what Pastor Ryan believed was God’s calling to start a church plant. A few believers met after going through Covid shutdowns and wanting to be a part of something new God was doing through the teaching of His Word and living in a way that was honest and real.
After a little over year as a home church, God provided an office building close to Bell Road in Auburn, CA and we remain there until God directs otherwise.
Anchor Church is a non-denominational church that focuses on the truth of the Bible that stands the test of time and does not change or waver with the fads of the world. The Bible is timeless and superior to and above all other ideologies, governments, beliefs, and movements.
We desire to be genuine followers of Jesus and servants of one another through humility and long-suffering. We believe the Bible is the infallible rule of faith and guide to life. As the scriptures are taught, and the Gospel is preached, lives will be changed and people will get saved. We long to see revival in the church and see the people of Auburn and the surrounding areas hear and respond to the good news of the Gospel.
Our mission is the one Jesus gave His disciples in Matthew 28:18-20
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Our vision is to be genuine followers of Jesus empowered by the Holy Spirit to preach the Gospel and bear godly fruit with love and long-suffering toward one another. We want to see this generation saved and set free from the power of sin and death. We believe the Church is the salt and light of the world to proclaim liberty to the captives through the good news of Jesus Christ. We love worshiping God through music and desire to reach others through pure and simple musicianship and the verse by verse teaching of the Word of God.
